Job Title: Foundation Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Foundation Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of Pause 4 Peace Foundation. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative assistance, coordinate programs and events, and contribute to our mission of empowering youth and families promoting digital wellness.

Responsibilities:

Administrative Support: Manage schedules, calendars, and correspondence for the Founder/Director.

Program Coordination: Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating programs, including the "I AM (more than) SOCIAL MEDIA", “I AM (more than) MY STORY” & Mindful Parenting in a Digital Age programs.

Event Planning: Coordinate logistics, registrations, and materials for workshops and events. 

Communication: Draft emails, social media posts, and newsletters to engage potential participants, donors, and the communities we serve.

Data Management: Upload survey data into data collection website. 

Fundraising Support: Assist in researching grant opportunities, preparing grant proposals, and acknowledging donations.

Social Media: Monitor and moderate social media platforms to ensure brand consistency and online safety.

Community Outreach: Build relationships with partners, schools, and community organizations to promote Pause 4 Peace programs.

Miscellaneous: Perform other tasks as assigned by the Founder/Director.

Suggested Requirements:

Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., education, communications, non-profit management). 

Experience: 1-2 years of administrative or program coordination experience, preferably in a non-profit organization.

Skills:

  1. Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.

  2. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Canva, AI support and social media platforms.

  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  4. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  5. Passion for digital wellness, youth empowerment, and community development.

Work Environment: Full time on site (Opportunity to work 1 day remote) - Hollywood, On location for programs - Watts/Compton.
